Moving plug-in content to another location
On versions of Cradle Hub 1.4 and later, you can move plug-in content to a different location on your computer without needing to reinstall it. You also have the ability to select different install locations for individual plug-ins.
NB. this only affects VST instruments with large content libraries like The Prince, the State Machine series or GGD's Modern & Massive 2. The plug-in files themselves (.vst3, .axx, AU) must remain in the default system directories to work.
The first step is to move your plug-in content to the desired location. You can find the plug-in content by clicking on the ... on the specific product and then View Content Installation Path as shown here:
After moving the files, open up Cradle Hub and scroll down to the relevant plug-in on the my library page.
You should see a message saying this product may no work correctly as some files could not be found as shown below:
Click repair and you'll be given the option to relocate or reinstall the product:
In this case, you want to click relocate followed by the ... button where you can select the plug-ins new directory. You should be shown the following message to indicate that Cradle Hub now knows where to look for the plug-in content:
Click relocate and you're good to go!
